In Person at Client's Home

• At Pilgrimway Lives, we pride ourselves in having the most compassionate, caring, professional and competent caregivers on the planet to provide the best homecare they can get. Our Caregivers provide non-medical care assistance to families and their loved ones. These can be elderly, children with specific medical conditions or adults who needs extra support at home after getting out of the hospital. You provide peace of mind by helping others and putting a smile on thier faces while doing it.

Our Caregivers provide extra support to families and their loved ones based on their individual needs. This includes but not limited to 

• Meal planning, preparation and packing
• 1-on-1 assistance with hands-on personal cares i.e. bathing, toileting, shaving, dressing/undressing, etc.
• Provide assistance with household chores including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc.
• Medication reminders, management, supervision and documentation
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, medical charting, etc.
• Community outings and in-home activities

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum education; high school diploma or GED or BEPC or GCE O-Level
• Must have reliable Transportation and Insurance
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Prior experience preferred, but not required
• License - Current and in good standing (Required depending on your location)
• Tuberculous Test (PPD) within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license and reliable automobile in some case
• Fluent in English and/or French (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
• Be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standards of honesty and integrity!

Applicant must meet or exceed minimum qualifications for each of the following background checks:

• Criminal Background Investigation
• Motor Vehicle Driving Record
• Professional and Personal Reference Checks

Must accept responsibility for learning and adhering to PilgrimWay Lives policies and procedures, be able to function in the home setting with minimal direct supervision, and maintain satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.

Our Homecare partners (Caregivers, Certified Nurse Assistants, etc.) and your Care Coordinator.

Pay structure: Base Pay + Profit Sharing + Benefits

Base pay: Depends type of client being cared for, level of skill and overall experience
